most eyebrow drooping occurs due to injection in the forehead – not the eyes (crow’s feet). as the muscle that is elevating your eyebrows is your frontalis (forehead) relaxing it has a small chance of relaxing your eyebrows as well. though the risk is low and effect is reversed botox should be injected with caution in people with already sagging eyebrows

Botox can very easily cause the condition you described (ptosis or a sagging eyebrow) when injected incorrectly. Botox is placed in the muscles above the brow that pull upward.

other than the low chance of an allergic reaction most other side effects are localized to the region its injected in – eg forehead = eyebrow drop, eyes = can spread to cheek muscles and limit the smile..etc

good point – DO NOT MASSAGE THE AREA – as you will shift the placement of the drug. forehead excessive doses are usually the culprit – better to request you would like this area treated conservatively and be prepared for a top up after a couple of weeks on wrinkles left – much safer method

After receiving a Botox injection, do not massage the injected region. From my point of view, poor location of the injection and excessive doses of Botox are the culprits of eyelid drooping.
