How long do filler treatments last?

How long results last differs depending on age, skin type, skin condition and lifestyle but it can be up to 12 months, and even longer after subsequent treatments.
Typically, a follow-up session is recommended every 6 months after the first treatment.

Do filler treatments need pain relief?
Most people do not require pain relief during treatment to correct lines and wrinkles. Your physician will work at your pace and stop the procedure at any time if you are experiencing pain. A local anaesthetic cream can be applied to the area if you experience discomfort.
A local anaesthetic or dental block is used before lip treatment to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible.
Do I need to take a skin test?
No. Hyaluronic filler does not contain any animal-derived ingredients so it is compatible with all skin types.
However, if you have recently had a laser or chemical peel treatment, it is recommended you wait until the area is totally healed before undergoing treatment with Dermal Fillers. Your practitioner will advise you when your skin is ready for treatment.
